Dogs learn best in small, short chunks of time. And that's better for us too! You can weave 2- or 3-minute training sessions in between other things you do around your home. Once you start grabbing small opportunities to train, your dog will learn quickly. When your dog learns quickly, you'll find yourself wanting to train new things - fun tricks, household helper tasks, fun things to video for friends and family. It's always such a joy to see when people realize how incredibly smart their dog is!
As so often happens, you may start with a problem, work on its solution and discover a whole new way of relating to the family dog! The time you set aside for your training lesson with Your Dog's Personal Trainer will be an hour of enjoyment with your dog with nothing else getting in the way. Not only will you love this time, you dog will be *thrilled*! The result? A well-behaved family member that you can take with you almost anywhere - who wouldn't love that! How does it work?

I’ll set up a training plan based on your priorities and goals and then we’ll generally meet once each week as we work toward your goals. The number of sessions will depend on
The Assessment and Training Lesson is billed at $100 for a two-hour maximum assessment and lesson. In-home Training Lessons are billed at $75/hour. If you choose to purchase your lessons in a package, paying in full before the first lesson, your cost will be less.
In-home Training Lessons can also be structured such that Your Dog's Personal Trainer comes to train your dog while you are away at work. We would then meet every 3rd lesson for you to learn how to have your dog do what I have taught him.
Following each lesson, Your Dog's Personal Trainer provides notes as to the work we accomplished, video clips of your work with your dog (when available), video clip examples of what you will work on next (when available). Email and phone support are available post-lesson too.
